ANGELS OF AMERICA’S FALLEN
Angels of America’s Fallen is a national non-profit organization founded by a retired Lt Col with 25 years of service. After seeing the lack of support for the children of his fallen friends, the Lt Col started this organization to give positive outlets to grieving children. Angels of America’s Fallen works to empower children during a difficult time of loss by encouraging them to participate in healing developmental activities. They invest in long-term engagement, connecting with the children all the way through 18. Child Appointed Special Advocates
CASA (Child Appointed Special Advocates) is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization. These volunteers are trained, then judge appointed to be the voice for children in court that have been victims of child abuse, neglect, and sever domestic conflict. Generally working one case at a time, the child appointed special advocate will make recommendations in the child’s best interest. CASA provides an opportunity for our most vulnerable people to have a voice and make sure they are placed in a safe, loving, permanent home where they can thrive. THE PLACE

Urban Peak is a non-profit dedicated to ending youth homelessness. Staring in Denver, Urban Peak quickly grew and became a temporary overnight shelter for young adults, ages 15-24. Seeing the impact of Urban Peak, a combination of service providers reached out and asked for a similar program in Colorado Springs. “The Place” was opened in Colorado Springs and remains the only organization providing shelter and services to homeless and runway youth. Urban Peak works with homeless youth to ignite the spark within them to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives.
